About Us

GALA House started in 2025 as part of the Flying Baby Mechanic series. We are family-owned and proud to be based in Chicago.

We started GALA House after writing our first children's book for our son while he was in in the NICU. After being inspired by our own little magic moments during story time, we came up with the idea for Flying Baby Mechanic. 

​

Going forward, we hope to add more stories to the GALA House collection, and look forward to engaging with other families and book stores in the area and beyond. We are always open to doing readings and other volunteer activities that support families bonding over stories and literature.
